About Me:
I am a psychological associate and have loved working with children, families, and adults. I grew up in northern California and earned my B.A. in Psychology from Biola University. Throughout college, I worked at a summer camp for children. There, my passion for working with children increased and I knew I wanted to be a therapist to work with others and help them grow. After graduation, I worked at a residential center for children. I then attended Rosemead School of Psychology, earning my PsyD in Clinical Psychology. As a therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, community health centers, and college counseling centers. |
Who I am as a therapist
I focus on each client as a unique person with their own strengths and hopes. I work to create a space where you can grow and we can work together towards your goals. Having a space where you can share your story and be met with empathy is something I deeply value. I believe that you are the expert on yourself! Your input, thoughts, and feelings are so important and I will make space for you to process and express them!
Why I love what I do
Listening to clients’ stories and walking alongside them is such a privilege. I love to see clients’ growth and celebrate progress and success together, as well as validate struggles and pain. Working to reduce the stigma of therapy and providing a place for clients to be fully themselves without apology is so important to me. Seeing children and families increase their strengths is always key to me!
